Home Early
We left Amstedam a little early expecting delays in Calais which did not materialise... as a result we will be returning to Brambletye at the earlier time of 19:00 as opposed to 21:30 as planned.

Day 5: hockey training with Ryan
Today we focused on dribbling skills (and more shooting). This was finished off with a series of game scenarios...
Day 5: Football v TOS-Actief
U13s Drew 2-2 (2-1 HT)
(Jasper, Max)
We dominated the first half with Bun running the show. They upped the tempo in second half and equalised with two minutes to play.
U12s Lost 2-7 (0-5)
(Billy, Ben)
Complacent in the first half after the success in the last match. "Second half: amazing" CJF
Day 5: Hockey vs AH&BC
ÎWe won! 8-0 (6-0 HT)
(Abbie 3; Marnie 1; Claudia 1; Sav 2; Ella 1)
We rushed at them and got two quick goals in the first five minutes. Everyone played an important role and we kept them out of our D for most of the first half. They had chances but our goalie stopped what got through our defence.
We are starting to play the wider game and the progress that we have made is pleasing.

Day 4: Awards
After a fantastic buffet supper with chicken, chops, Thai curry, Indian rice, salads as far as the eye could see and some very yummy puds to name but a few things, we have our awards for the day.
Hockey: most improved players
Bowling: Highest Scores
Day 4: Art, Spa and lots of balls
Whilst the girls were hockeying, the boys relaxed in the pool and spa at the hotel. Whilst the boys went off to their training, the girls had some R&R time in the pool and spa: the steamy Turkish bath was particularly popular.
The girls then went to meet the boys after their training with Ajax...
Then we went bowling ...

PSV v Sparta Rotterdam final score
After 78 minutes PSV found the back of the net. We left with a few minutes to play to miss the rush and were reliably informed that the score did not change further by our bus driver.
