Edgy first ten minutes with a lot careless errors. Sparta were better and could have been one up.
PSV, frustrated by the messiness of the game, got a yellow card for dissent and since then have started to thread through some long passes and take control of the game. They have had several good efforts and should be a couple of goals to the good at the break but the Sparta goalie is keeping them at bay!
